These Terms of Service govern your use of the EasyKeys mobile application. By creating an account or using any part of the app, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old and agree to be bound by these terms.
EasyKeys grants you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use the app for your own learning and personal use. You agree not to:
EasyKeys requires an internet connection to work. Some features also require data-sharing consent, microphone permission, or a signed-in account. Guest mode may provide limited access, including limits on uploaded-song analysis.
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials and devices secure. If you use email, phone, password, one-time passcode, or other authentication methods, you agree to provide accurate information and to notify us if you believe your account has been compromised.
You may upload audio files or use your device's microphone to record practice sessions for analysis. By providing content you confirm that:
EasyKeys does not claim ownership of content you upload or record. Audio data is processed for analysis, guidance, and supported feedback only and is used to provide app functionality.
EasyKeys reserves the right to suspend accounts that are found to be uploading content in violation of these terms or applicable copyright law.
To provide chord detection, beat detection, playback guidance, and supported feedback features, EasyKeys may transmit audio and related metadata to the EasyKeys audio analysis backend (ChordMini). Some features may also rely on third-party infrastructure or APIs, such as Supabase for account data and cloud sync, Google Cloud Run for backend hosting, and lyric or AI-assisted services where enabled.
By using analysis or recording features, you confirm that you have read our Privacy Policy and consent to the processing needed to provide those features.
EasyKeys owns or licenses the app interface, logo, animations, curriculum, software, and original content. Some included audio, artwork, or music-related materials may be licensed or provided by their respective rights holders.
The chord detection and analysis results generated by EasyKeys are provided for personal educational use only. They should not be redistributed or used for commercial purposes without permission.
EasyKeys uses machine learning to detect chords and musical patterns. While we strive for accuracy, chord detection results are not guaranteed to be 100% correct. EasyKeys is intended as a learning aid — always use your musical ear alongside the app's suggestions.
If EasyKeys offers paid features, subscriptions, or in-app purchases, pricing and renewal terms will be shown before purchase through the App Store. You can manage or cancel App Store subscriptions through your Apple ID settings. If no paid feature is offered in your installed version, this section does not create any payment obligation.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, EasyKeys and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to loss of data or interruption of service.
The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
You may delete your account at any time from the Settings screen. This permanently removes your account and all associated EasyKeys data from active systems. Some server logs, backups, or records required for security, legal, or reliability reasons may remain for a limited period. EasyKeys reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice.
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
These terms are governed by applicable law. If a specific jurisdiction is required for your region or App Store listing, it will be identified in an updated version of these terms.
